Commissioned in 1943, the USS LEXINGTON served longer, set more records and earned more decorations than any aircraft carrier in U.S. naval history. Take a tour and learn about the history of "the Blue Ghost" and take amazing virtual journeys of sight and sound via the three-story tall MEGA Theater while at this unique museum. The USS LEXINGTON Museum is open seven days a week, except for Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
