Among the features of this structure is The Great Hall that is highlighted by an immense gold seal with symbols representing the six nations of which Texas was a part of and two huge murals depicting major events in the history of the state. Known as one of the best examples of Texas Art Deco, this building also houses bronze statues in its Hall of Heroes and the various rooms showcase a variety of decors. A 394 seat lecture hall is also on site.
