A Dallas landmark for performing arts including dance, music, and theater, this historic theatre was designed by architect Karl Hoblitzelle in 1921 and was first used for both vaudeville acts and the screening of motion pictures. This Renaissance Revival-style theatre is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and features 1,570 seats, a grand five story presence, and an opulent interior that includes marble floors, ostentatious molding and decoration, and the Baroque splendor of a gilded lobby.
