This $6-million, 4.3-acre park of terraced concrete and cascading water is spread over four-and-one-half blocks of downtown. The Gardens depict a miniature mountain scene enhanced with rivers, waterfalls, and pools. Designed by Phillip Johnson of New York, the water park offers an oasis of other-worldly peace within the heart of the concrete, steel and glass of downtown Fort Worth, with three pools--- a quiet pool, an aerating pool, and an active pool, in which water cascades down a system of terraces. In short, it is a great place, conveniently located, to get away from the hustle and bustle, climb hills and canyons, and enjoy the peace that the setting and enchanting peripatetic waters offer.
