With over 15,000 square feet of exhibits, the privately owned and founded Texas Civil War Museum is the largest museum west of the Mississippi River. It includes three separate galleries that display a Civil War collection, Victorian dress collection and a United Daughters of the Confederacy Texas Confederate collection and a 75-seat movie theatre which shows, "Our Homes Our Rights"- Texas in the Civil War.
