The brick-paved Main Street is blocked off from the courthouse, south for nine blocks, almost to the convention centre, to become the site of the Southwest's largest art festival, held each April. The average draw each year is 430,000 people who come to enjoy this four-day celebration of visual art, entertainment and culture. One will revel in the streets that are filled with artists, dancers, performance artists, food vendors, entertainers, and others who are there to join in the good times.
