This annual four-day event, held from late April through the first of May, is Fort Worth's own rite of spring, which began as a loosely organized community-wide picnic on the banks of the Trinity River in the early 1970s. Now, one can expect a weekend of music, food and fun. Entertainment usually includes performances by the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra and a variety of big-name popular acts.
