The Kammlah house and store, built of stone in 1849, anchors this museum complex which features authentic structures built by Texas' German settlers, along with their handmade artifacts. The store displays country merchandise of the late 19th century and all of the buildings have signs explaining the building and its contents. A map for self guided tours around the complex is available.
