A Texas Historical Landmark, this historic museum is also listed on the National Register of Historical Places and exhibits artifacts that demonstrate the economic, political, cultural, and social life of Hill County. A memorabilia room has been dedicated in honor of Hill County native Willie Nelson and a noted occupant of the jail was Elvis Presley on a drunk and disorderly charge.
