Established in recognition of the city's 150th birthday, Sesquicentennial Park offers a gazebo and promenade area adjacent to the Wortham Center. Features also include cascading waterfalls and distinctive lighting. Artist Mel Chin's seven 70-foot pillars pay tribute to Houston past and present.
