Ventura Lofts had the distinction of winning the National Apartment Associations 2009 award for Best Mid/High-Rise Community (over 150 units) and the NAHB Multifamily Pillars of the Industry Award for Best Clubhouse at a Multifamily Community. Within the mid-rise are numerous attributes that appeal to the customer's desire for modern urban living. Ventura Lofts was built in 2008 as a mid-rise community at a location that previously housed an Exxon-Mobile office building. Despite the replacement of the commercial space with a multi-family dwelling, Ventura Lofts received praise for preserving 58 oak trees on the site. Sueba Development constructed the product as an urban mid-rise with a distinct modern-style appearance.
