This is a fantastic place...We plan to return to Huntsville to visit other exhibits. I hope they will be able to build a permanent facility because of the large collections of African American memorabilia they have...

Samuel Walker Houston was my maternal Grand-Father. My mother Helen Hope Houston, was one of 3 children. My mother later married Leroy Taylor in 1939 which produced my sister Joyce Elaine Taylor and myself Jeffrey Steven Taylor. Our mother passed 11/5/1986 from breast cancer in Oakland,CA. My last name is now Bashir a result in a change in my religion to become Muslim.
