    This favourite gathering spot, located near Market Square, offers picnic tables, benches and walking trails, and is named for Benjamin Rush Milam who fought with revolutionaries in Texas and Mexico to gain independence from Spain. There are drinking fountains and restrooms located within the confines of the park, for the comfort of the visitor.
