This favourite gathering spot, located near Market Square, offers picnic tables, benches and walking trails, and is named for Benjamin Rush Milam who fought with revolutionaries in Texas and Mexico to gain independence from Spain. The area that now comprises the park was a popular meeting ground for those forced into exile by the Mexican Revolution.
