La Villita is located near the Riverwalk and the Alamo in downtown San Antonio. Having once been the original settlement in San Antonio, today, aside from the historical significance and buildings in the area, La Villita is a thriving one-block area that features fetching landscaped grounds and a number of shops and artists and craftsmen selling their wares. Here you will find, just to name a few, Little Rhein Steak House, Alice Knight Studio, Village Weavers, Mustang Greys, Villita Stained Glass, the Little Church, Angelita, Casa Clasal/Copper Gallery, Bonsai Arbor, and Nueva St. Gallery.
