The only remaining example in Texas of an aristocratic early Spanish house, this beautiful structure was the residence of the presidio captain who represented the King of Spain in the Governor's absence. The Spanish Governor's Palace includes period furnishings. This national landmark has been called the "most beautiful building in San Antonio" by the National Geographic Society.
