Fantastic food and lots of it. Loads of unmatched fried chicken and more than a dozen other vegetables and sides. Leave room for the peach cobbler. Everything is homemade. Family-style seating, so you meet everyone from locals to coast-to-coast visitors.

I have heard about this place several times, but have never stopped because I drive a truck. Wonder if they have room for me?

Love the chicken, potato salad and yellow squash. We drive about 40 miles to eat at Allen's. The food is hot and delicious. The service is great. You meet lots of interesting people when you eat there. The cobbler is wonderful. Don't plan to do anything after you eat there, because you will be full. Prices are great and it's all you can eat.
