Located in the oldest brick building in Texarkana, this historical museum features exhibits which tell the region's history, including agriculture, early industry, civil rights, and World War II. These examples include replicas of a Victorian parlor, an 1890's farmstead model, a kitchen, and a doctor's office. Other exhibits include pottery and tools by the Caddo Indians that lived in the area. The Wilbur Smith Research Library and Archives contains photographs, out-of-print books, letters, periodicals, and diaries.
