The 14-acre Tyler Municipal Rose Garden is the nation’s largest municipal rose garden. There are over 38,000 rose bushes providing 500 different varieties, from tall grafted rose trees to miniature roses no larger than a dime. A highlight of the Garden is he one-acre Heritage Rose and Sensory Garden, which has over 30 antique rose varieties that date back to 1867. The Rose Garden is the site of the popular Queen's Tea, which is held during the Rose Festival.
