Placed on the National Register, the Greek Revival with Victorian accents home also received the second Texas Historic Landmark Plaque ever given in the state of Texas and the Texas Historic Commissions Museum Service Award for Outstanding Educational Program in 1988. Open Tuesday through Sunday from 1p.m. until 5 p.m., this fascinating home contains original furnishings and artifacts from Texas history. Admission is charged.
