This annual commemoration of the birthday of one of the nation’s founding fathers and pre-eminent social philosophers is held in April and is comprised of an outdoor ceremony at Thomas Jefferson's gravesite at Monticello. Remarks by a featured speaker, music by a fife and drum corps, and a wreath laying by Jefferson affiliated groups are part of the ceremonies.
