This early 19th century wooden water wheel and operating gristmills is an award-winning restoration and a Virginia Landmark which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The house includes an exhibit about the process of milling and the families who operated the mill and a renovated 20th century dairy barn features the history of the Great Falls community around the mill. Daily tours, educational programs, special events, and outdoor concerts are held here throughout the year.
