Designed by the architect of St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York and the original building for the Smithsonian Institute, this Victorian Gothic Revival style building is a delight to behold. Visitors can see a display of Mary Ball Washington's will and the document appointing her husband, Augustine, trustee of Fredericksburg while at this court house.
