The only home Confederate General Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson ever owned and where he lived immediately before the American Civil War, this historic modest brick town house has a mid-century stone addition at the back and is furnished with many of Jackson‘s own possessions, as well as appropriate period pieces chosen to match items listed in Jackson‘s 1863 estate inventory. Guided tours, conducted on the hour and half hour, are available.
