The story of America's first state military college and the alumni and faculty who have helped mold the course of history is told at this museum which contains exhibits such as Professor Thomas Jonathan "Stonewall" Jacksonās uniform coat that he wore while teaching at VMI, the bullet pierced raincoat that Jackson wore at Chancellorsville, exhibits interpreting cadet life at VMI past and present, a replica of a cadet room in the VMI Barracks, and exhibits from the Henry Stewart gun collection.
