The first section of the James River Heritage Trail system to be completed in the late 1970's, the Blackwater Creek Bikeway is suitable for walkers, bikers and strollers. It extends three miles along an historic, abandoned railroad bed, from the Ed Page entrance on Old Langhorne Road, through the Hollins Mill Tunnel to the connection with RiverWalk.
