A former Prince William County seat, this property dates back to the 1820s and is the county's oldest surviving courthouse. During the Civil War, it was raided frequently by Union soldiers for supplies, and today, the place is said to be haunted. The site also contains a jail, a one-room schoolhouse, a log cabin, the Brentsville Union Church, 24 acres of beautiful grounds which include hiking trails and a picnic area.
