Was going to Leesburg - ended up in Middleburg - what a great surprise - beautiful drive and then on top of that I love real French Cafes - hard to find.

Totally by accident - the menu was limited but everything I and my daughter and friend could have asked for. The Escargot were excellent - garlic and all kinds of good seasoning - the bread was fresh out of the oven and was the perfect soaker upper.

Every thing we ordered - half roasted chicken, pork and beef were seasoned to perfection. All I kept saying was this is great. Whenever I really like something I don't quit oohing and ahhing.

Very comfortable casual french ambiance with lots of little treasures to look at.

The service was outstanding and friendly - no pretense . . . Great house wines - I bought two bottles of the Grand Moulin Chardonnay. Everything was reasonably priced.

Fortunately, we got home a lot faster than we got to Julien's - wow, but what a ride.
