Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the historic Red Fox Inn & Tavern has been visited by George Washington, young colonists, uniformed British soldiers, General Jeb Stuart, Colonel John Mosby, President Kennedy, Ambassador Pamela Harriman, Elizabeth Taylor, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis and more during its over 250 year old history as a tavern and lodging establishment. The Red Fox Inn's several properties include more than 14 guest accommodations. The Tavern’s home-style dishes are prepared using many local ingredients sourced from area farms.
