Should have written this a year ago. This is one of the honestly best restaurants I have ever been to--I travel extensively and just returned from the Mediterranean. The ambiance, the wonderful food that is made by the owners a delightful couple from Hungray and were able to pull it altogether--There were all locals when I was there last and they knew all their names. I agree. The food is superb. However, I have one correction to the above. They are from the Moravia region of the Czech Republic. I spent about six months in Prague and tried in vain to find fruit dumplings as light and delicious as the ones they make. And only my Moravian cousin can make a roast duck to rival his. The creamy Czech saurkraut is delicious. The Chicken Paprikash is melt in your mouth yummy...you will definitely want extra bread dumplings to mop up the tasty sauce. I have never been disappointed by anything I have eaten there. It is by far the first choice when my family wants to celebrate any special occassion. And that is high praise from well-traveled Foodies like us. It is an experience not to be missed. Thank you Monastery for being as wonderful as you are.
