A historic house museum and an archive, library, archeological laboratory and educational institution, the Federal-style Ker Place serves as the Eastern Shore of Virginia Historical Society's headquarters and the Center for Eastern Shore History. Ker Place is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., except for January and February. Be sure to check out the museum store during your visit to Ker Place.
