The story of the famous World War II Marine Raiders, the first and most famous commando-type outfit ever formed by the U.S. Marine Corps, is seen and told at this museum that features eleven large glass display cases and a dozen display boards which tell the gallant Raider story. Visitors can see examples of deadly Raider Stilettos and the authentic Gung Ho knives the Raiders used to hack their way through the jungles, while at this museum, as well as firearms, tools, equipment, uniforms, and many fascinating implements of war.
