Maggie L. Walker National Historical Site

This historic site commemorates the life of Maggie Walker, a progressive and talented African American businesswoman and financier, and the site includes her residence of 30 years which is filled with original Walker family pieces, as well as a visitor center detailing her life and the Jackson Ward community in which she lived and worked.
