One of the most modern speedways on the Nascar tour, this 3/4 mile "D" shaped asphalt oval track is surrounded by the greatest number of seats of any Virginia sports complex. Both Nextel Cup races in Richmond are run under the lights in front of sellout crowds and the Busch series runs Friday night before the Cup race both weekends. The fall race also features the Nascar Craftsman Truck series for a perfect Nascar triple-header.
