This campground is located on a no-wake cove off of Lake Anna. A great location, however the staff is extremely rude. Be sure to bring cash, as they charge a 3% fee for credit and debit cards. Ask about their rules when checking in. They seem to change daily and are not posted anywhere in the park. I wouldn't take the family dog. There are tons of cats everywhere and there is a $500 fee if you harm one. There are quite a few old, run down campers sitting around. A real eye sore. I will not go back. I have camped at the Lake Anna State Park and Christopher Run campground. Two great places to camp! If you prefer a motel, I would recomment the Lighthouse Inn and Lake Anna Lodge. You will find much friendlier people there!

I STAY THERE GOT IN LATE WAS DARK THOUGHT I HAD LEFT MY TENT POLES HAD DROVE 3 HOURS WENT BACK TO OFFICE TO LET THEM KNOW I WAS GOING TO HAVE TO LEAVE THE STAFF WERE GREAT GAVE US A CAMPER FOR THE NIGHT YES A LITTLE RUN DOWN BUT WE HAD A GOOD TIME WE BROUGHT OUR DOGS THE CATS AND CHICKENS NO BETTER THEY DONT BOTHER YOU LAKE WAS GREAT VERA
