Built by the founder of the academy, Charles S. Roller who had been a Confederate soldier serving in General J.E.B. Stuart's Cavalry, this completely restored historic house museum sits among stately old trees and expansive lawns on the grounds of the now-closed military academy. The house museum is filled with late 1800s Victorian decor and features chronologically arranged display materials covering activities at the school from 1900 until the institution closed in 1984, as well as a typical cadet barracks room, a classroom, and an impressive collection of uniforms.
