I had a great experience with Judith. I bought my dress in NYC and had no interest in running up and down the I-95 corridor just to have the dress altered, so I looked closer to home. After searching for many hours online for a place, I settled on Judith's. My mother and I went for the first fitting and she was great! She pinned and fussed over me (in a good way) and was helpful in suggesting what type of bustle would look best on me (who knew there was more than one type)! At the second fitting apparently I had lost some weight (I honestly had not tried to, but it was an added bonus) and she suggested that I push my final fitting to the Sat before the wedding just in case I lost more weight. I was initially a little nervous about this... what if the dress wasn't done in time!?!? My worrying was for naught as not only on the last fitting was she totally on point, but she was also able to navigate through my mother, my two aunts and my cousin all who do not speak English and have a tendency to speak loudly (people from the Mediterranean-what are you going to do)?!? Oy! She was so great with my dress, all of them and with me! I picked up my dress on Wed evening just as scheduled and it looked great! I would recommend her to anyone! Judith is amazing! I had originally taken my dress to another place and they did an okay job. There were some creases I didn't like in the lining and the top was fitting kind of strange. I made the mistake of asking my drycleaner if they could fix it and they assured me they could. Long story short they made it worse and I only have one week till my wedding. I pretty much assumed I was going to have to throw the whole dress away and start over. One of my girlfriends had reminded me of Judith who had made a dress for my friend years ago (and girlfriend looked good). I pretty much cried myself to sleep the night before but I figured I would give my dress one last shot and I would call Judith in the morning.

I called her last Friday and explained to her my situation. She had me come in that afternoon and quickly went to work. She told me to come back the following Wednesday (less then one week from me first going there) that way if she needed to do anything else she still had some time to fix it. I was certain I would have to pay up the wazoo because of the short notice and all the work that needed to be done. When she told me the price I almost kissed her! She was extremely affordable! After leaving there I knew everything was going to be okay.

I picked up my dress today and my dress looks amazing. She made the top look better than before, replaced the cheap looking bustle and much much more. Ladies you need to only go to one place for alterations and that is definitely Judiths.

Judith was awesome! She not only made my (too small) dress fit, she made it seamless as if it always fit me perfectly. She was also open to making any other changes to the dress that I wanted.

She even went the extra mile (without me even having to ask her to do so) to add some touches to the panel she had to add in order to "hide" the extra material needed to make the dress fit me. It make my dress even more beautiful!

Also, she was always friendly and offered honest, helpful advice! I would definitely recommend using her!
