Established in 1968, this museum is home to over 6,000 items including anthropology artifacts, fossils, minerals, crystals, botanical specimens, marine life, fluorescent rocks, and gems. The museum also has mounted heads of American and African game mammals, East African birds, Virginia birds, and Virginia and International insects. Group tours are available by reservation.
