A part of the Washington birthday celebration, this is the largest parade in the nation which is held in honor of the United States' first president and Alexandria's hometown hero. This parade features marching bands, floats, military and reenactment units, Masonic groups, equestrian entries, antique cars, and those portraying George and Martha Washington.
