Magnolia House Inn was built as his private residence by William Pole, the builder of the beautiful Lee Chapel on the Washington and Lee University campus. An example of the Shenandoah Victorian style, the house boasts high ceilings, tall windows, many fireplaces, and several porches. Enhanced with antiques, oriental rugs, and traditional furnishings, the inn offers three guest rooms and two suites, one room has a jacuzzi tub, all with private baths. A full breakfast is served each morning in the lovely dining room.
