Listed on both the National Register of Historic Places and the Virginia Landmark Register, this brick Victorian sea captain's mansion has many features including antique filled parlors, a formal dining room with an exquisite Venetian chandelier, wicker filled sun porches, a large common room, and a fourth floor that is a virtual museum area, essentially unchanged since the Captain had it built. There are two magnificent guest rooms, both with private baths, in the main house and four more rooms with private baths in the 1880 Coach House. A full gourmet breakfast is included with your stay.
