Situated high in the Green Mountains, this four-season country inn's 25 individually decorated rooms and suites are ideal for families or couples looking for that romantic Vermont getaway. Built in 1968 as a ski lodge, The Black Bear is now a year-round destination that offers a unique mountain location with panoramic views and a relaxing, warm atmosphere. All accommodations include handmade patchwork quilts, private baths, cable TV, and wireless Internet access. A full country breakfast is served. A three-course candlelit dinner by resident Chef Brian O'Neil may be added for an additional cost. On-site amenities include an outdoor heated pool, a hot tub and hiking & walking trails.
