Originally opened in 1950, the Lodge continues to be owned and operated by the Trapp family, the inspiration for the classic musical and movie "The Sound of Music." This lodge has a 2,800-acre natural playground for children and Mountain's Kid's Club activities to keep them entertained. There are 93 guest rooms, a restaurant, lounge and Austrian Tea Room. Enjoy snowshoe and ski trails, nature hikes, horse-drawn carriage rides, swimming, tennis, and more.
