The North River Winery, Vermont's first bonded winery, is located in the picturesque foothills of Windham County, situated along the North River - a popular trout fishing stream - in the small village of Jacksonville. It is located in a historic farmhouse and barn. They offer tours and wine tastings. They also operate Ottauquechee Valley Winery in nearby Quechee. It is filled with Vermont made wines, Cabot specialty cheeses, gourmet olive oils, an eclectic selection of wine related items, and offers wine tastings.
