Open daily from May through October, the Billings Farm & Museum "presents Vermont farm life as history, science, traditional culture, and human interaction with the environment through a variety of exhibits and audio/visual presentations," including a working dairy farm, restored 1890 farm house, Vermont Farm Year in 1890 exhibits, "A Place in the Land," an award-winning 30-minute film; and an eight-minute video that describes the evolution of the Billings Farm and responsible land use. Exhibits are based on extensive professional research utilizing resources in their own collections and other Vermont, regional and national repositories.
