An organic boutique farm, Once in A Blue Moon Farm is one of the original homesteads here on Orcas Island. Committed to sustainable practices of farming and tourism, this 35-acre estate and family farm on the western slope of Mt. Woolard produces multiple varieties of apricots, peaches, nectarines, figs, plums, cherries, apples, pears, quince and more. Here you will also find many different cultivars of blueberries, tayberries, strawberries, raspberries, gooseberries, grapes and kiwis, herbs, magnolias, bushels of lavender, horses, alpacas, sheep, goats, llamas, pasture ranged hens, ducks and geese. Three lodging units in a transformed two-story barn are available.
