Artifacts, depicting the Makah's history are beautifully displayed. These priceless objects originated from the archaeological excavations of the Ozette village at Cape Alava, which had been perfectly preserved under a mudslide 500 hundred years ago. The Makah museum is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily between Memorial Day and mid-September. Winter hours are the same, except closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
