This beautiful wildlife sanctuary on Lake Washington’s eastern shore is Kirkland’s largest park. Boasting 3,000 feet of shoreline, these wetlands host nearly 120 species of birds. Two boardwalks and an abandoned highway bridge along the shoreline offer access into the wetlands. A long, sloping lawn above the marshes with paved asphalt paths has benches and picnic tables placed to overlook the site.
