Emerging artists as well as featuring long established masters, dedicated to enhancing understanding of the cultural traditions of the Northwest Coast First Nations peoples. The Steinbrueck Native Gallery is a place of gathering for artists and appreciators; collectors and scholars. Lectures, storytelling, and carving demonstrations, & events aimed towards inspiring and educating the audience. TTheir collection includes ceremonial masks, drums, rattles, button blankets, panels, bentwood boxes, paddles, limited edition prints, baskets, and silver and argillite jewelry. The Gallery also features a collection of Alaskan and Arctic art including soapstone, ivory, and bone sculpture.
