The Yakima Area Arboretum is a 46-acre living museum and botanical garden that was created "to cultivate a greater knowledge and appreciation of native and adaptive plants in an atmosphere of beauty, inspiration, and relaxation." Its interpretive center houses the Wilma Belfield Walker Horticultural Library, Yakima Valley's only horticultural library. The Jewett Center features two meeting rooms.
